Manitoba PNP: EOI Draw Issues 224 ITAs to Students and Workers Categories

The newly attained draw on 25th September 2019 has successfully invited 224 qualified candidates to appeal for a nomination from the province for Canada PR below the Manitoba PNP. Approximately 7% of invitations went to applicants registered below the federal Express Entry system.   

The draw held in the last week was Manitoba PNP’s 73rd EOI draw. It majorly concentrated on applicants who had their profile enrolled under one of the 3 Manitoba P.N.P pathways- Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba, and the International Education Stream.

In 2019, Manitoba has announced a sum of 6,381 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to qualified candidates below the mentioned pathways of immigration.

Skilled Worker in Manitoba Pathway

A significant part of LAAs issued went to qualified candidates below Skilled Worker in the Manitoba pathway. In the total 224 LAAs, 140 LAAs were assigned to candidates below this category. It ensures permanent residence to qualified temporary immigrant workers and foreign graduates presently working in Manitoba.

The Skilled Worker classes of Manitoba run on an Expression of Interest (EoI) basis.


The recent draw below the MPNP pathway- Skilled Worker in Manitoba invited qualified applicants with an EOI score over 537. The other eligibility parameter includes a permanent and full-time job offer from an organization in Manitoba.

Skilled Worker Overseas Pathway


In the total 224, LAAs announced, 59 LAAs went to applicants below the Skilled Worker Overseas pathway.


Candidates chosen beneath this category were asked directly through a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, managed by the Manitoba PNP in alliance with Manitoba businesses.


To qualify beneath this category an applicant has to enroll their EOI profile below the M.P.N.P. The recent draw gave invitations to qualified applicants with a minimum EOI score equal to 703 and above.


International Education Pathway


Particularly for Manitoba graduates with specific in-demand skills, this stream covers three subcategories – Graduate Internship Pathway, Career Employment Pathway, and the Student Entrepreneur Pathway.


Out of the entire 224 LAAs announced, 25 LAAs went to qualified graduates below the International Education Stream applicants. However, the least EOI score for selection beneath this stream was not made public.
