1000+ Applicants Apply for PR in the 9th Canadian express entry round in 2016

This round included 1018 applicants for permanent residence. This was the 23rd draw Express Entry System where the score was less than 500, in succession. This program is run by the Federal Economic programs. The immigration system was implemented on 1 January 2015 that manages the applications from skilled workers. Future CRS scores are expected to be below 500 in 2016 The Canadian immigration authorities need to meet the annual immigration targets for the year 2016; hence, the CRS scores for the Canadian express entry program are expected to fall below 500. This will enable a large number of applicants to receive PR in Canada without the job offer or provincial nomination, however, it is highly recommended to acquire an approved offer of employment. Express Entry Year-End Report 2015 shows applications rejected The Canadian express entry year-end report reveals that IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) has rejected many applications due to incompleteness. In 2015, IRCC rejected 2433 applications and approved 14,058 of the total while 5687 were bounced for incompleteness. There are numerous reasons for rejection of the Express entry application There are a number of reasons for the applications may be incomplete and here are a few common but unique to the Canadian express entry. The IRCC requests “multiple police certificates” which means applicants need to provide certificates for all the countries where the applicant has stayed for six months and above. Many applicants are unaware of this change in the requirements. Another reason for incompleteness is to request for the police certificates within the 60-day window of receiving the ITA. In case the certificates are not issued, the applicants are required to show best efforts and explanation of efforts to acquire the police certificates and that the request was sent as soon as possible after they received the ITA. IRCC may request for new forms or documents for the Canadian express entry program within 7 days of request on MyCIC account. It is imperative that applicants don’t miss the deadlines. Canadian express entry portal does not show the documents uploaded hence the applicants cannot view the documents uploaded. Applicants must ensure that the correct documents, PDFs are uploaded. It is essential that applicants provide all the documents required in the Canadian express entry checklist unless they fall under the exceptions category.
